The Australian WorkHealth program is funded by the Australian Government, Department of Health and Ageing, under the Better Arthritis and Osteoporosis Initiative
The Australian WorkHealth Program – Arthritis is a pilot program designed to improve the health of Australian workers by preventing and minimising chronic conditions, particularly arthritis.
With a ‘whole-of-system’, evidence-based approach, the Australian WorkHealth Program – Arthritis aims to improve employee effectiveness and wellbeing and generate economic benefits to individual companies and to the nation as a whole.
Arthritis is one of the most common chronic diseases and the focus of the Australian WorkHealth Program – Arthritis is initially on the prevention of this disease and on enabling workers to be more productive while at work.
